Radiant Heating Systems

Radiant heating systems are heating systems for space heating, warming the rooms by radiation.

Most heating systems we know can be quite inefficient. For example, radiators give off heat largely by convection and a little by way of radiation.

Under floor heating emits most of its heat by way of radiation. Under floor heating warms up your room steadily and efficiently.

Examples of non-radiant heaters are forced warm air heaters which blow hot air through air-ducts in the floor and ceiling into your room. These are usually expensive to run and maintain in addition to providing less clean air ventilation.
